Fountain coverage is currently focused on Canada. Listings and recorded access details are incomplete, and do not guarantee current access, opening hours, working condition or water quality. Follow signs at each location.
Apple Maps directions may lead to a mapped building rather than an indoor fountain. Outside Canada, water tracking and games remain available, and you can request your city in Nearby.

Start without an account
Basic tracking does not require signing in. Optional Sign in with Apple supports player-account recovery, and private cloud backups are manual.
Choose your reminders
You control your goal and reminders. Optional workout reminders need Apple Health permission and depend on when a recorded workout reaches Health.
Manage your information
Device history is kept for up to 90 days. Settings and account controls let you manage local data, backups and online information.

The app is WaterID’s everyday consumer offering. WaterID.ca brings together the broader platform: public water reports, refill information, browser tools and services for exploring water data.

WaterID is available for iPhone and iPad on the App Store. WaterID’s separate browser tools provide web-based tracking and water information, with their own features and data handling.
What if reminders or backups aren’t working?
Check your app and device notification settings. Backups are manual, so avoid deleting the app while troubleshooting your local history.
